GLOBIZ - MYSTERIOUSLY YOURS:

Review of “Dr.Jekyll, There’s Nowhere To Hyde!”

March 31, 2010

IN TODAY'S GLOBIZ:
Whodunit?
That's the question you'll be asked at "Mysteriously Yours… Mystery Dinner Theatre."
680 showbiz editor Gloria Martin took in Opening Night of the new show called Dr. Jekyll, There’s Nowhere To Hyde!

Listen to the review here:

In the elegant dining room of the Mysteriously Yours Mystery Dinner Theatre on Yonge north of Davisville, the actors enter in character and descend on your table to exuberantly chat, ask questions and give you clues about the murder that will most definitely take place. By doing this they cleverly weave you into the plot. You may have to stand up and say a word or two but don't worry, it's great fun.

Dr. Jekyll, Alexander Graham Bell, Dr. Sigmund Freud and Madame Marie Curie are all attending a scientific conference of which you become part… And the action takes place all through the dining room - the murder victim is news man "Anderson Scooper"

On the fun scale, Mysteriously Yours is always a winner. The menu is upscale and a portion of ticket sales go to the Schizophrenia Society of Ontario.

Review of "Extreme Holmes Makeover: Murder Edition!"

April 2, 2009

IN TODAY'S GLOBIZ:
Home reno guru Mike Holmes was seeing double recently at the 'Mysteriously Yours' dinner theatre. Gloria Martin reviewed the latest show Extreme Holmes Makeover: Murder Edition.

Listen to the review here:

The cast of renovation gurus includes Mycroft Holmes, great grandson of Sherlock, and star of Holmes on Houses, played with ease by Mysteriously Yours veteran, Jean Daigle. Others include Martha Steward and Tim Toolman. Of course, a murder quickly ensues and the cast presents clever clues to solving it with great humour. The show is witty and fun, and the three-course meal from Executive Chef Therese De Grace is delicious. On opening night the real Mike Holmes had a front row seat and laughed his head off. A portion of all ticket sales go to the real Holmes Foundation.

Mysteriously Yours is on Yonge Street just south of Eglinton. I highly recommend it for a murderously funny night out – but I won’t tell you whodunit.
