BARB SCHEFFLER* – Barb is an actor, singer, writer and director/choreographer. She has performed on and off with Mysteriously Yours over the last 16 years, playing many, many roles, and is thrilled to be a big part of yet another mystery! Barb has also performed in and around Toronto and at various regional theatres. Some of her favourite roles include: Marjorie in Marjorie’s Wedding; DeeDee in Suds; Mrs. Martin in The Bald Soprano; Yum Yum in The Mikado; Ella Hammer in The Cradle Will Rock; Florence Vassy in Chess; and Sister Mary Amnesia in Nunsense II. IAN RONNINGEN* – Ian is an actor, singer and writer; he also occasionally draws a picture... he's an artist. Ian has performed with Mysteriously Yours for a few years, appearing as Jethro in Murder at Twilight; Jan Jansky in Dr. Jekyll, There's Nowhere To Hyde; Mr. Thom in Murder at Sea; and many more. He has trained and performed with Vancouver Theatre Sports in Vancouver; starred in musicals and theatre from BC to PEI; studied voice and acting with many talented coaches; and does voices for commercials, video games and cartoons; as well as writes, directs and stars in his own sketch videos online. CLARE PREUSS* – Clare has been performing with the team at Mysteriously Yours since 2003! She has also collaborated with theatres such as: Alameda, Artistic Fraud of Newfoundland, The Blyth Festival, Buddies in Bad Times, Cahoots, Carlos Bulosan, Driftwood, fu-GEN, Young People’s Theatre, Native Earth Performing Arts, New Harlem Productions, Nightwood, Theatre Direct Canada, Union Eight and Volcano among others. In 2011, Clare directed Cake for the Bayimba International Festival in Kampala, Uganda and last fall she assistant directed A Beautiful View at BeMe Theatre in Munich, Germany. Her film and TV acting credits include: Mean Girls (Paramount), The Prince and Me (Paramount), Loser (Sony), Urban Legends: Final Cut (Phoenix) and Get with the Program (TVO). |

TOM MELISSIS – Tom has been a professional actor for over 25 years, appearing in numerous productions: as a regular in the award winning hit series Due South and Degrassi: The Next Generation, as well as guest starring in other acclaimed shows such as Flashpoint and Da Vinci’s Inquest. His comedic skills were honed as a member of The Second City during the late 80’s. Recently, Tom has devoted his time to his 3 year old son, Geoffrey-Milo, who continues to mesmerize, challenge and humble him. He is both anxious and excited to be making his debut with Mysteriously Yours. |

SIMON ESLER – Was born in Calgary, Alberta but raised in Oakville, Ontario. Simon found his way into the Toronto Theatre scene after attending York University. Simon has worked with companies such as Clay and Paper Theatre, Back Burner Productions and Pregnant Pause Theatre. Simon is honoured to add Mysteriously Yours to the list, where he has performed in numerous mysteries. |

STEPHANIE FOLKINS – Stephanie made her way to the big city after attending Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Her theatre credits include Romeo and Juliet, The Secret Garden (Theatre New Brunswick), Frost/Nixon, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (Saint John Theatre Company) and Ivor Johnston’s Neighbours (Ship’s Company Theatre). She wishes to extend many thanks to the wonderful people at Mysteriously Yours who have made “Once Upon a Murder!” possible and of course to her inspirational teachers, incredible family and great friends for looking out for the ‘strange little actor girl!’ |

BIRGITTE SOLEM* – Birgitte has been with Mysteriously Yours... for more than 16 years, playing characters such as “Iffy” in Mystery of the Maltese Blue Jay!; “Ilsa” in Murder in Casablanca!; “Ginger” in Murder At Sea!; “Mary Crocker” in A Recipe for Murder!; the “Countess Dragemov” in Murder on the DisOrient Express!; and “Scully” in The Y2K Files... Millennium Factor. Theatre credits include Mom’s The Word (Magnus Theatre and Huron County Playhouse); The Rochdale Project; Language of the Heart (Theatre Passe Muraille); Filthy Rich; Anne; Stolen Lives; Sometimes Never (Blyth Festival); 15 Seconds (Great Canadian Theatre Company); and Fast Lane (National Arts Centre). DANNY WENGLE* – Danny is a Toronto based actor, writer and sound designer. He has appeared in Huron Country Playhouse’s production of Rumors; Lover’s and Madmen’s Kvetch; Sunshine Festival's Dial M for Murder; White Line Fever’s Girls We Have Known; as well as many shows for Mysteriously Yours, during the past 24 years. Television and feature film credits include Doc; Exhibit A; Booze Can; and A Whisper to a Scream. |

KEN MacDOUGALL* – Ken is a writer, actor and director, and has performed with Mysteriously Yours… for over 15 years. As an actor, Ken has appeared in theatres across Ontario and Nova Scotia including Stirling Festival, Collingwood, Port Hope Festival, Gryphon Theatre, Louisbourg Playhouse, Summerworks and the Atlantic Fringe Festival. As a director, Ken has directed Billy Bishop Goes to War (Gaiety Theatre), The Fourposter (SFT), and Rumpleforskin at the Toronto Fringe Festival (written by and starring Don Harron). His written work has appeared at Mysteriously Yours; Marquee Productions; Feast of Fools and the Cape Breton Summertime Revue. |

PIERRE ALAIN TRUDEL* – Originally
from Saint-Boniface, Manitoba, Pierre has lived and worked as an actor
in Toronto since 1985. As well as his many television appearances, you
may recognize Pierre as one of the members of Men in Tights, the
hilarious comedy trio that uses improv and audience participation to
spoof Shakespeare and other classic tales. Pierre is thrilled to be
working with Mysteriously Yours… |

LAURENCE PRANCE* – Larry has been with Mysteriously Yours... for more than 23 years. He has performed as numerous characters including: “Ricky Ratchett” in Murder on the DisOrient Express!; “The Incredible Blade” in Boom... You're Dead!; “Kato” in Murder on Sunset Blvd!; “Colonel Mustard” in Dying For A Clue?!; and “Regis” in Who Wants to be a Dead Millionaire. Larry has also performed for Equity Showcase, and with the children's touring company, Erewhon Theatre. Film, television and radio credits include: Top Cops; Night Heat; Chasing Rainbows; The Edison Twins; and a radio version of Macbeth. He was also in two short films: Heartbrake Verite; and Small World's Momma's Boys. Larry studied acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, England. |

IAN KEELING – Ian has had his poetry and short stories published in a variety of magazines and his first play, The Boys,
came third in the 2003 Toronto Fringe Playwriting Contest. He has been
improvising for over 15 years and currently teaches improv at various
institutions throughout Toronto, including Second City and Bad Dog
Theatre. As an improviser, his more recent credits include Harry Patter and the Improvisor's Stone and The Lord of the Things. His most recent stage productions include The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged), The Importance of Being Earnest, and The Comedy of Errors. |

SCOTT McCULLOUGH* – Since 1994, Scott has originated numerous roles with Mysteriously Yours, including "Joel
Pyro" in The Mystery of the Maltese Bluejay; "Max Legroom" in Murder on
Sunset Boulevard; "Blofeld" in Goodbye Mr. Bond; and "Addie Toman" in Murder on the Limelight Express. Since returning from the MFA acting program at Northern Illinois
University from 2001-2004, he has added such roles as "Tom" in Godfather Knows Best; "Regis" in Murder in Paradise; and "Sigmund Freud"
in Dr. Jekyll, There's Nowhere to Hyde. Other theatre credits include: A Guy Named Joe for Ottawa's Odyssey Theatre; The Belle of Winnipeg for Keystone
Theatre; and The Seagull at Equity Showcase. Most recently, Scott appeared on the tv series My
Babysitter is a Vampire; and Kenny vs. Spenny; and in the CFC short, Phone Company Man. |

KRISTEN CORVERS – Since the year 2000, Kristen has been living in Toronto and getting her hands on every bit of art she can manage. After graduating from The Randolph Academy she began performing in musicals and joined the dance company Aurora Live Inc. Since then she has appeared on stage, in short films, commercials, various television series', indie films and MOW's. She was one half of the hip hop duo "GoodBears", and produced, directed and performed in live and video sketches with "The Wrong Box". |

LAUREN SPRING* – Lauren is thrilled to be working with Mysteriously Yours. Lauren is a
professional stage and screen actress who trained in Montreal and at
L'ecole Jacques Le Coq in Paris, France. She has performed and taught
throughout Canada and abroad. Favourite credits include Hellfire
Pass (Centaur); Cheech (Centaur); The Hanging Maids (Burning Passions
Theatre); Pierrot et la Lune (Metaphysical Theatre); Puss In Boots
(Alberta Opera); and all of the work she does with Extant Jesters
and Young Jesters - the companies she's co-founded with her partner
Thomas Gallezot. In the autumn of 2011, Lauren's play, Granted was
produced at the Riverside Theatre in London, England and it continues
to be in development at theatres in both Toronto and
Newfoundland. Lauren's new play for young audiences, Water is
presently touring to elementary schools throughout Ontario.
Lauren is also working towards her Masters degree in International
Development. |
